Request for proposals for in-Kind Grants for Youth-Led Peacebuilding Initiatives Closing Date: Sunday, 09. Aug 2026 Intervention Sector(s): Agriculture, Culture, Development, Migrant Workers, Social & Cultural Development, Sports & Recreation Under the EU-funded project The Power of Youth: Unlocking Potential for Inter and Intra-Communal Conflict Prevention in Lebanon, implemented by Mada Association, Jafra Foundation, and WeWorld, we are inviting informal youth groups to apply for in-kind grants to implement small-scale peacebuilding and conflict-prevention initiatives in their communities. Who can apply? Informal groups of at least two young people aged 1835. NOTE: An informal youth group is a group of people working together around a shared idea or initiative that is not applying on behalf of a registered organisation or legal entity. Groups based in Beirut, Tripoli, or the Palestinian Camps of Shatila, Burj El Barajneh, Nahr El Bared, and Beddawi. Priority will be given to: Groups led by young women; or a majority of women. Groups bringing together participants of different nationalities and genders, especially groups bringing together youth from within and outside the targeted Palestinian Camps. Initiatives that integrate environmental considerations. Initiatives that use sports, culture, or the arts as tools to promote peacebuilding and social cohesion. Other innovative community-based peacebuilding initiatives are also welcome. Applications will be assessed based on: Relevance to peacebuilding and social cohesion. Expected positive impact on the community. Feasibility within the available timeframe and budget. Creativity and community ownership. Grant: Selected groups will receive an in-kind grant (no cash transfers) with a maximum value of USD 2,148. A total of 16 grants will be disbursed. Ineligible activities: Activities that promote discrimination, hate speech, violence, or political or sectarian agendas. Religious or partisan political activities. Initiatives whose primary purpose is humanitarian assistance or individual financial support. Activities that generate private profit for individuals or businesses.
