Work Detail
Construction Work – Modernization Of The Long-Distance Cycle Path Network In The Oberspreewald-Lausitz District, Lot 8.2 Buschmühle Bridge. The Osl District Has An Extensive Cycle Path Network, Most Of Which Was Expanded Over 15 Years Ago And Long-Distance Tourist Cycle Tours Have Now Been Designated Along Its Routes. During The Course Of The Tour There Are Various Sections Of Paths Totaling Approx. 27 Km Long (Mostly Asphalt Construction) Throughout The District That No Longer Meet Todays Requirements And Require Structural Measures. These Were Built As Part Of Various Construction Projects By The Municipalities Themselves, By The District As Part Of The Cycle Path Program 1998-2002 Or By Lmbv Gmbh As A Mining Upgrading Measure. These Are Mostly Asphalt Paths With A Planned Width Of 3.00 M (In Exceptional Cases Also Wider), Which Are No Longer Comfortable For Cyclists To Use Due To Broken Edges, Root Damage, Surface Damage, Etc. The Sections Have Different Lengths Up To A Maximum Of 4,000 M And Are Spread Across The Entire District. The Municipalities Also Indicated Sections Of The Route For Which Single Or Double-Sided Root Protection Is Considered Necessary. The Extent To Which These Root Protection Measures Make Sense After Technical Examination At The Locations Without Further Construction Work And Which Measures Are Used Was Examined As Part Of The Preliminary And Draft Planning. The Aim Is To Modernize And Upgrade The Routes Of The Long-Distance Cycle Path Network So That They Sustainably Meet The Current Requirements For High-Quality Cycle Tourism. A Mere Repair Is Not Planned. In Addition To The Technical Regulations From Traffic Route Construction, Which Apply In Particular To Routes With Multiple Uses, The Advice And Suggestions From Cycling Associations, Tourism Providers And Users Were Also Taken Into Account During The Planning And Implementation. Sustainability Here Primarily Refers To The Fact That The Maintenance And Care Effort For The Paths Is As Low As Possible In Order To Be Able To Ensure The Tourist Standard For The Guests In The Long Term And Constantly. The Paths Are Under The Construction Burden Of The Individual Municipalities In Whose Territories They Are Located; Here The City Of Vetschau Is The Construction Agency. The Osl District Acts As A Service Provider For All Construction Agencies And As A Client For The Planning And Construction Services; It Applies For Funding And Invoices These Together. The Cooperation Partners Were Involved In The Planning And Construction. The Cost Breakdown Was Designed In Such A Way That The Planned Costs Can Be Distributed Among The Cooperation Partners.
