Non-Hazardous Refuse And Waste Treatment And Disposal Services – Processing And Sanitary Disposal Of Waste At The Kavalas Landfill. The Object Of The Contract Is The Selection Of A Contractor Who Will Undertake The Provision Of Waste Treatment And Sanitary Landfill Services At The Kavala Sanitary Landfill. More Specifically, It Concerns The Following: Department A: The Contractor Will Provide Waste Pre-Treatment Services With Its Own Equipment And Its Disposal In Cell B Of The Kavala Wwtp, Including Its Operation And Maintenance. In Addition, The Burial Of The Residues From The Treatment Of The Blue Bin At The Drama Wastewater Treatment Plant And From The Treatment Of Mixed Municipal Waste At The Mechanical Sorting And Composting Unit Of Drama Is Also Included. The Duration Of Section A Will Be For Two Years (24 Months). Section B: During Section B, The Maa Kavala Will Have Been Put Into Operation And The Contractor Will Provide Burial Services For The Remains, As This Results From The Approved Holistic Of The Region Of Eastern Macedonia Thrace, In The B Cell Of The Kavala Landfill Undertaking Its Operation And Maintenance. The Duration Of Section B Will Be Three Years (36 Months). The Following Options Are Provided: A) The Exercise Of A Quantity Option For Department A, To Increase The Incoming Flows To Be Treated, I.E. The Treatment Of An Additional 25,000 Tons Per Year For Two (2) Years, In The Event That During The Initial Contract The Facility Receives A Larger Amount Of Waste. The Estimated Value Of The Option Amounts To €2,010,500.00 Excluding Vat At 24% (Estimated Value Including Vat At €2,493,020.00). B) The Exercise Of An Option To Extend The Time Of The Contract For Section A For Two (2) More Years, I.E. The Services Of Pre-Treatment Of Waste With Its Own Equipment And Its Disposal In Cell B Of The Kavala Wwtp, Including Its Operation And Maintenance, In The Event That At The End Of The Two Years Of The Initial Contract, The Kavala Wastewater Treatment Plant Has Not Been Built And Put Into Operation.
