Construction Consultancy Services – Tnw + Initial Offer Heating Center For The Metzingen All-Season Pool. Fitting Into The Overall Project A Combination Pool Is Being Built On The Bongertwasen Site As A Year-Round Pool With An Expected Net Construction Volume Of Approximately Eur 80 Million. The Pool Includes, Among Other Things, A Swimming Pool Suitable For Competitions, A Teaching Pool With A Diving Tower, Childrens And Leisure Areas, Two Outdoor Pools, A Slide System And A Sauna With A Sauna Garden. In Addition, Extensive Outdoor Facilities With Play, Sports, Lounging And Relaxation Areas Are Planned. The Planning And Construction Services For The Bathroom Building Were Awarded To A General Contractor In A Negotiated Procedure With A Competition Based On A Functional Service Description. The Energy Supply For The Year-Round Pool Is Expressly Not Part Of This General Contractor Agreement. The Planning, Awarding, Construction And Operation Of The Energy Generation Plants Are Carried Out Independently By Stadtwerke Metzingen. Subject Of The Project The Heating Center Is The Central Element Of The Energy Supply For The Year-Round Pool And Is Built In The Basement Of The Pool Building. It Supplies All Heat And Hot Water-Relevant Consumers Of The Swimming Pool, In Particular: - Pool Water Heating, - Room Air Heating, - Hot Water Preparation. The Heat Is Supplied Completely Electrified And Without The Use Of Fossil Fuels. The Main Components Of The Heating Center Are In Particular: - A Geothermal System With A Total Of Around 75 Geothermal Probes, Each With A Depth Of Around 290 Meters, - A Large-Sized Air Heat Exchanger For Using Outside Air, Especially In Transitional Periods And For The Regeneration Of The Geothermal Probes In The Summer Months, - Several Heat Pumps With A Total Heating Output Of Around 1 Mw, - Associated Technical Auxiliary Systems Including Regulation, Control And Safety Technology. The Electricity Required To Operate The Heat Generation Systems Is Completely Covered By Renewable Energies. For This Purpose, Photovoltaic Systems Are Used On The Roof Areas Of The All-Year-Round Pool, On The Roofs Of The Parking Spaces And An Assigned Open-Space Photovoltaic System. The Aim Is A Long-Term Economical, Climate-Neutral And Largely Market Price-Independent Energy Supply. Project Status And Aim Of The Tender The Implementation Planning For The All-Year-Round Pool, I.E. Lp 1-5 Hoai - Has Been Completed. On This Basis, Reliable Energy Parameters As Well As A Concrete Technical Plan For The Heating Center Are Available. This Means That The Prerequisites For The Transition To The Implementation Phase Are Met. Stadtwerke Metzingen Intends To Put The Planning Services In Phases 6 To 9 Of The Hoai Out To Tender Across Europe. The Construction Services Will Then Also Be Awarded Throughout Europe. The Overall Technical, Economic And Organizational Responsibility For Planning, Construction, Commissioning And Operation Of The Heating Center Lies Entirely With The Metzingen Municipal Utility Company.
