Rochdale Council Are Seeking To Set-Up A Framework For An Empty Homes Temporary Accommodation Leasing Programme For Four Years. The Council Intend To Award 1-3 Delivery Partners To The Framework.The Delivery Partner(S) Will Lease Or Acquire 2-4 Bedroom Homes To House Families Who The Council Owe A Duty To Provide Temporary Accommodation To, Under S.188, S.190 Or S.193.The Main Objective Is To Provide Safe And Secure Accommodation, Whilst Reducing The Cost Of Temporary Accommodation To The Council By Incentivising Owners Of Properties Which Have Been Empty For 6 Months’ Or More To Bring Them Back Into Use.The Project Is Not Aimed At Households With Ongoing Housing Related Support Needs, However The Council’S Temporary Accommodation & Move On Team For Homeless Families Will Provide Support When Needs Are Highlighted.Please Note, This Framework Is Being Procured Via The Light Touch Regime.The Tender Submission Deadline Is The 18Th August At 12:00 Noon.
