The Subject Of The Procedure Is The Europe-Wide Award Of General Planning Services For The “Expansion Of The Psychiatric Ward And The Day Clinic At The Augsburg Location” In A Negotiated Procedure With A Participation Competition In Accordance With Section 17 Vgv. The District Hospital (Bkh) Augsburg, Clinic For Psychiatry, Psychotherapy And Psychosomatics At The University Of Augsburg, Is Part Of The University Medical Center In Augsburg And, With Around 600 Employees, Is The Largest Psychiatric Care Center In Swabia. The Hospital Has Grown And Expanded Over Several Construction Phases Since The Beginning Of The 1980S And Is Now Considered The Largest Acute Psychiatric Specialist Clinic In Swabia. There Is Now A Significant Need For Adaptation And Expansion Due To The Increasing Number Of Cases And Structural Deficits In The Existing Buildings. In A Feasibility Study Carried Out For This Purpose, Possible Structural Development Options At The Site Were Examined. The Specific Needs Were Coordinated With The Bavarian Ministry Of Health. The Aim Is To Realize A Replacement And Expansion Concept With A New Building For Inpatient Beds And The Creation Of Day Hospital Places By Converting, Upgrading And Expanding Existing Building Structures.
