As A Result Of The Flood Event In The Summer Of 2021, Parts Of The Community Of Linnich Were Flooded. The River Rur, Which Runs Through The City And The Adjacent Municipal Area, Overflowed Its Banks And Caused Considerable Damage. The Urban Area Of ​​Linnich Was Accessed In The West-East Connection From The East Through Erkelenzer Strasse And The L253 / Jülicher Strasse Through The Heinrich Weitz Bridge. During The Flood Disaster, The Water Level Of The Rur Almost Reached The Lower Edge Of The Steel Bridge Structure. Due To The Large-Scale Flooding, The Rur Carried A Lot Of Flotsam With It, Which Ultimately Led To Collision Situations With The Superstructure. The Cologne District Government Issued A Water Permit For The Replacement Of The Heinrich Weitz Bridge Based On The Application Dated October 9, 2024 - No. 54.B.1-2025-0002902-U70/25. This Approval Is Included In The Tender Documents. The Road Construction Part Includes The Dismantling Of The Existing Road Route To The Bridge And The Construction Of A New Road. Construction Road 745 M2 - Production Of Drainage Pipes (Buried) 30M The Bridge Construction Part Includes The Dismantling Of The Existing Bridge Structure With Subsequent Construction Of The Overpass Structure As A Steel Composite Structure. The Following Main Services Are To Be Provided: - Demolition Of Roadway Construction With Caps 250 M3 - Dismantling Of Steel Supporting Structure 250 Tons - Demolition Of Substructures 350 M3 - Production Of Sheet Pile Wall Shoring 1690 M2 - Production Of Bored Piles Ø 90 Cm 410 M - Excavation Of Earth 2330 M3 - Production Of Underwater Concrete 710 M3 - Production Of Reinforced Concrete Substructures 600 M3 - Production Steel Composite Construction 185 Tons - Production Of Caps 170 M3 - Production Of Road Surface Bridge 525 M2 Demolition Concept: By Recalculating The Existing Structure, Taking Into Account The Given Weakening Of The Component, It Was Determined In Coordination With The Test Engineer That The Bridge Structure Can Be Used For Dismantling With Light Construction Equipment.
