The Ard (Association Of Public Broadcasting Corporations Of The Federal Republic Of Germany) Is An Association Of Public Broadcasting Corporations In Germany. Cooperation Between Broadcasters Is A Key Concern Of Ard. There Have Been Numerous Collaborations On Television And Radio Programs For Several Years. The Mandate To Optimize The Structure Of Public Broadcasting In The Digital Age Obliges The Ard State Broadcasters To Implement The Measures Defined Therein. This Procurement Project Is A Central Component Of This Objective And Makes A Significant Contribution To The Standardization And Harmonization Of It Processes And It Landscapes. Based On The Central Servicedesk (Zsd) Already Introduced By Ard, The New Tender For A Central Zsd Is Being Planned And Carried Out Under The Leadership Of Bayerischer Rundfunk (Lead Buyer). The Clients Of The Tendered Services Are The Broadcasting Companies Involved In The Zsd (Beneficiaries) Including The Joint Facilities Of The Ard (Gsea) (See Procedural Documents) - Hereinafter Referred To As The Client. Bayerischer Rundfunk Takes On The Role Of The So-Called Lead Buyer.
