Tenders are invited for Design, Prepare and Facilitate Customized Humanitarian Training for up to 35 Participants in the West Bank. Service Location: West Bank. Background ActionAid is a global justice federation working to achieve social justice, gender equality and poverty eradication. We believe that an end to the poverty and oppression of the Palestinian people will be achieved through sustained collective and individual action, enabling Palestinians to lead their lives in dignity. SPAII is one of our projects and its aim is Enhancing the leadership role of Palestinian young men and women for resilient, green and just societies, within the second phase of the strategic partnership program implemented by ActionAid Palestine through ActionAid Denmark and funded by the Danish Development Agency. Global Platform Palestine conducts Youth Trainings Within the framework of activities related to the project objectives. Purpose and Rationale In collaboration with PNGO (Palestinian Non-Governmental Organizations Network.), the Global Platform Palestine (ActionAid program) is seeking a qualified consultant/s, either firms or individuals with relevant experience, to Design, prepare, and facilitate Customized Humanitarian Training for 25 participants in the West Bank.These topics are: 1) A virtual workshop on Humanitarian Reset in the Palestinian context for the Humanitarian Youth Group members in Gaza Strip and the West Bank 2) Social Cohesion and Community Peacebuilding, with a focus on their importance within the Palestinian context and key considerations before, during, and after emergency response interventions. KEY DELIVERABLES The consultant is required to: Preparation and planning meeting with PNGO and the Global Platform team on the training design, preparations, and facilitation process. Design and facilitate 4 hours virtual workshop on Humanitarian Reset in the Palestinian context Design and Facilitate 3 intensive days in Social Cohesion and community peacebuilding which should also focus on: a. Its importance in the Palestinian context b. Considerations for social cohesion and community peace building before, during, and after emergency response. Training Report includes Recommendations Qualifications of consultants Bachelors degree in humanitarian or social work or any related field Extensive experience in working with youth. Previous proven experience in designing-facilitating Humanitarian Trainings including Social Cohesion and Community Peacebuilding Individuals may only apply as part of a team with proven relevant experience, including submission of the CVs of all team members. For selected individual teams, the proposed team members shall be responsible for conducting the training. Any changes to the approved team composition may give ActionAid the right to cancel the agreement. Qualifications of consulting Firm Proven institutional experience in implementing humanitarian community-based programs and capacity building activities Demonstrate the availability of a qualified team with proven expertise in the relevant assignment topics. For selected Firm, the proposed team members shall be responsible for conducting the training. Any changes to the approved team composition may give ActionAid the right to cancel the agreement. Application process Trainers that meet the requirements should submit an expression of interest, which should include the following: CV and Cover letter including the consultant suitability for the assignment and current contact information, include 2 samples of previous similar work (Each topic). Technical offer: detailed response to TORs, with specific focus addressing the purpose and objectives of the assignment, methodology to be used and key selection criteria (max. 5 pages) Financial offer: detailed budget breakdown based on expected daily rates, initial work plan. Prerequisites for accepting financial offers Prices include value added tax (VAT) for establishments officially registered with the Ministry of Finance; while for individuals and non-profit institutions, the offered prices will be subject to a 5% deduction for income tax. Official registered applicants must submit a Valid deduct from source certificate along with the offer. Prices are to be submitted in Shekel and are valid for 90 days starting from the applications closing date. The quotation must be detailed and based on the work mechanism proposed by the consultant. The quotation Opening Committee is not bound by the lowest prices. The quotation is revocable. The quotation is Divisible.
