The Ministry Of Forests (‘The Ministry’) Is Inviting Bids For Seedling Transportation Services Throughout The Province, As Required For The Ministry’S Reforestation Programs. This Contract Is For Seedling Transportation Between Nurseries And Storage Facilities (Detailed In The Schedule B). It Is Anticipated That Multiple Contracts Will Be Awarded As A Result Of This Tender Call, As Detailed Further In This Document. Contracts Will Commenceseptember 1, 2026(Provided Required Documentation Is Received). The Ministry Of Forests, Bc Timber Sales Provincial Operations, Seedling Services Division Ships Tree Seedlings Required For Its Reforestation Programs In Refrigerated Trailers Between Forest Seedling Nurseries And Cold Storage Units Throughout The Province. There Are An Estimated 250,000 Cartons (Approx. 240 Loads) Shipped Throughout The Province Annually.Bidders Are Referred To Condition Of Tender No. 5.01 Which Specifies Eligibility Requirements Andinformation Which Must Be Submitted With The Tender. Basic Shipping Requirements Include: Tandem Axle Tractors And Refrigerated Trailers At Least 48 Feet Long; And/Or Refrigerated Vans Less Than Or Equal To 28 Feet; Other Equipment As Determined By The Contractor
