Notice Of Planned Request For Standing Arrangement (Rsa) For The Lcrb Hearing Delegates

The Ministry Of Agriculture And Food Intends To Establish A Standing Arrangement With One Or More Contractors For Up To Four (4) Qualified Delegates To Provide Adjudicative Services On An “As-And-If” Requested Basis. These Delegates Will Conduct Hearings And Issue Written Decisions Related To Disputed Allegations Of Non-Compliance Under The Applicable Regulatory Framework.The Liquor Control And Licensing Act (Lcla) And The Cannabis Control And Licensing Act (Ccla) Authorize The General Manager Of The Liquor And Cannabis Regulation Branch (Lcrb) To Impose Penalties For Contraventions. Where Allegations Are Disputed, The Lcrb Conducts Hearings. The General Manager Delegates Adjudicative Authority To Individuals (I.E. Delegates) To Conduct Those Hearings And Issue Written Decisions.Interested Suppliers Are Encouraged To Monitor Bc Bid For Formal Notifications Regarding Any Formal Procurement Or Solicitation Process That May Be Issued By The Ministry In The Coming Weeks.This Notice Is Not A Solicitation Or A Formal Call For Tenders Or Any Other Type Of Procurement.
