Heat Pumps - Heat Pump Supply Works - Ail Thermal Power Plant - Gemmo. As Part Of The Construction Of A New District Heating Network In The Municipality Of Lugano, The Construction Of The Gemmo District Heating Plant Is Planned, Equipped With Heat Pumps Intended To Cover Approximately 80% Of The Networks Heat Needs. The Thermal Source Of The Heat Pumps Is Made Up Of The Drinking Water Tanks Adjacent To The Power Plant. Since It Is Not Possible To Use Drinking Water Directly As A Feed Fluid For Heat Pumps, The Heat Transfer Occurs Via An Intermediate Circuit That Uses Co2 As A Heat Transfer Fluid On The Evaporator Side.
