The Contract Essentially Includes The Planning And Construction Supervision Of The Following Measure: On The Site Of Sewage Treatment Plant 1 In Nuremberg, Digestion Tanks 1-5, Including The Associated Elevator Tower And Connecting Bridges, Are To Be Comprehensively Renovated Due To Poor Structural Conditions. In Addition To Structural Repairs, The Measure Also Includes A Renewal Of Process Technology Such As Pipelines, Machine Technology And Other Digester Installations. In Terms Of Construction, Extensive Concrete Renovations, Sealing Work And, Above All, Energy-Related Renovations (Thermal Insulation And Facade Design) Are To Be Implemented. The Aim Is To Repair The Digesters So That Modern, Safe And Efficient Operation Of Sludge Digestion Is Possible In The Future. It Is Important To Note That Operationally-Related Serial, Section-By-Section Execution Of The Construction Project Over Five Construction Phases Is Important.
