Stawag Energie Is Planning To Build A Battery Storage System With An Output Of Approximately 15 Mw And A Capacity Of Approximately 30 Mwh (C Rate ~ 0.5) At The Aachen-Eilendorf Location. This Should Correspond To The Legal Requirements And The Current State Of The Art. A Grid Connection Commitment From Regionetz Gmbh For 14,904 Mw At The 20 Kv Level Is Available. The Battery Storage System Is To Be Connected Directly To The Power Grid And Used To Benefit The Grid And System, Including For The Provision Of Primary And Secondary Control Power As Well As For Participation In Electricity Trading At Epex Spot. The Target Completion Date Is Q2 2028. A Preliminary Building Permit From The City Of Aachen Is Available For The Planned Area. Scope Of Services: Stawag Energie Intends To Commission The Successful Bidder In Particular With The Delivery, Installation And Commissioning Of The Battery Storage System, Including The Following Components: - Battery System (Container Or Module Solution) - Inverters - Transformers - Medium-Voltage Switchgear - Energy Management System (Ems) - Interface For Direct Marketing (Electricity Trading Connection) - Civil Engineering Work - Production Of Foundations - Erection Of Fence And Lightning Protection - Erection Of The Medium-Voltage Transfer Station Including Connection To The Substation During The Award Process, The Bidder Must Provide A Project-Specific System Layout Including The Specifications For The Underground Expansion. As Part Of This Award Process, A Long-Term Maintenance And Service Contract Is Also To Be Concluded. This Should Include, Among Other Things, Maintenance, Remote Monitoring And Troubleshooting And Include An Availability Guarantee.
