Work Detail
Industrial Machinery – Awarding Of Planning, Procurement, Delivery, Coordination, Assembly, Commissioning, Trial Operation And Acceptance Of Sewage Sludge Acceptance And Interim Storage. The Waste Recycling South Hesse Association (Zas) Has The Task Of Disposing Of The Remaining Waste From Household Waste, Bulky Waste And Commercial Waste Similar To Household Waste After Prevention And Recycling For The Local Authorities Of The City Of Darmstadt, Darmstadt-Dieburg District, Odenwaldkreis And Its Cooperation Partners. For This Purpose, The Zas Owns And Operates The Darmstadt Waste-To-Energy Plant (Mhkw). Entega Ag Is Commissioned To Carry Out Operational Operations. Until The Start Of The Conversion Project, The Waste Incineration At The Mhkw Darmstadt Consisted Of Three Incineration Lines, Lines 1, 2 And 3, With An Approved Annual Throughput Capacity Of 238,280 Mg/A. Entega Received The Bimschg Approval Notice On December 20, 2023. The Approved Annual Waste Throughput Capacity Of Waste Incineration Lines 3 And 4 Is 225,000 Mg/A, The Approved Input Capacity Of Dewatered Municipal Sewage Sludge Into The Ksmb Is 60,000 Mg/A. The Zas Is Currently In The Process Of Converting And Modernizing The Mhkw Darmstadt. The Construction Of The New Waste Incineration Line 4 And The New Line 5 Will Take Place In Two Construction Phases. As Part Of Construction Phase 1, Waste Incineration Line 2 Has Already Been Dismantled. This Will Be Replaced By A Larger Waste Incineration Line 4, Which Is Currently Being Put Into Operation. As Part Of Construction Phase 2, It Is Planned To Dismantle Waste Incineration Line 1 And To Set Up A Line 5 With Ksmb And With Ks Ash Processing In Place Of Line 1 And To Couple The Ksmb With The Boiler On Line 4 In Terms Of Process Technology, Although The Work On Line 4 And The Necessary Dismantling Services Are Not The Subject Of This Tender. In Construction Phase 2, The Connection Between Ksmb And The Boiler Of Line 4 Will Also Take Place. The Aim Of The Ksmb Is The Thermochemical Treatment Of Municipal Sewage Sludge From The Region. Downstream Of The Ksmb, A Ks Ash Processing With Grinding And Granulation Of The Sewage Sludge Ash (Hereinafter Ks Ash) With Corresponding Recovery Of The Raw Material Phosphorus In A P Ash Granulate Is Planned, Although This Part Of The Plant Is Not The Subject Of This Tender. The Ksmb Consists Of Sewage Sludge Acceptance, Sewage Sludge Interim Storage And Thermochemical Sewage Sludge Treatment Using A Rotary Kiln. The Sewage Sludge Acceptance And Intermediate Sewage Sludge Storage Essentially Consists Of Two Reception Bunkers, Two Interim Storage Silos, A Receiving Vessel In Front Of The Rotary Kiln And The Sewage Sludge Conveying Technology. The Thermochemical Sewage Sludge Treatment Will Take Place In A Directly Heated Rotary Kiln In The Installation Area Of The Current Waste Incineration Line 1. The Rotary Kiln Should Be Heated With Hot Flue Gas (Hot Gas) From The Boiler Of Waste Incineration Line 4. The Process Gas Is Fed To The Combustion Chamber Of Waste Incineration Line 4. The Sewage Sludge Is In Contrast
