The Municipality Of Schiedam Is Working On The Glasbuurt Area Development In Nieuw-Mathenesse. As Part Of This, A Number Of Infrastructural Measures Will Be Prepared In The Coming Years. The Measures Focus, Among Other Things, On: • Improving The Accessibility Of The Area; • Strengthening Connections For Slow Traffic; • Improving Road Safety; • Increasing The Quality Of The Public Space; • Creating A Future-Proof Network Of Infrastructure Within And Around The Area Development. The Infrastructural Measures And Redesigns Have Been Upgraded To The Projects Below. Namely: - New Makkersbrug And Redevelopment Of Makkersstraat - Redevelopment Of Buitenhavenweg - Redevelopment Of Nieuwsticht - Bicycle Connection Between Van Deventerstraat And Boerhaavelaan
