Deadline: July 31, 2026 The Sanaa Center for Strategic Studies invites qualified institutions and individuals to submit proposals for designing and implementing a methodology for future studies within the project "Reimagining Yemeni Peace in the Regional Landscape". The project explores how the geo-economic and security interdependence between Yemen and the Gulf States contributes to building peace and regional stability and developing comprehensive policy pathways. Within this framework, the Sanaa Center intends to conduct a future-oriented foresight process, bringing together stakeholders from Yemen, the region, and the international community to explore future trends and developments that may affect Yemens regional geo-economic and security interdependence, including opportunities and risks related to trade, investment, labor mobility, free zones, maritime and regional security, and regional cooperation. This project aims to shift the focus from analyzing current crises to adopting a long-term strategic perspective that explores Yemens future role as an active regional partner. Scope of work and outputs This project consists of four phases: Phase 1: Starting implementation and designing the methodology · Review of relevant project documents, previous Sanaa Center research, and background materials relating to Yemens regional geo-economic and security interdependencies. · Designing a foresight methodology that is appropriate to the project objectives and the composition of the participating stakeholders. · An implementation start-up meeting was held with the Sanaa Center team to agree on the scope, type of participants, and expected outputs. Exit 1: Methodological note outlining the proposed foresight approach. Output 3: Facilitating foresight workshop sessions, including session minutes. Phase Four: Documentation and Reporting · Compiling the outputs of the workshops, including key trends, uncertainties, and potential future scenarios. · Identifying practical policy paths and recommendations resulting from this process. · Drafting and finalizing the report, incorporating the observations of the Sanaa Center.
