Bournemouth, Christchurch, And Poole (Bcp) Council Is Pleased To Invite Providers To A Virtual Market Engagement Event Taking Place On Tuesday 4Th August, 11:30Am–12:30Am Via Microsoft Teams. The Purpose Of The Session Is To Outline Our Commissioning Intentions For The Upcoming Community Wellbeing Partnership Service.Bcp Council Is Seeking Provider Views On The Development Of A New Community Wellbeing Partnership Service That Will Strengthen Collaboration Between Statutory Services And The Voluntary, Community And Social Enterprise (Vcse) Sector, Improve Access To Community-Based Support, And Help Residents To Remain Healthy, Independent And Connected To Their Communities.The Service Will Support The Council'S Wider Prevention Ambitions By Providing A Simple Route For Professionals To Access Information, Advice And Community Solutions That Help People Maintain Their Wellbeing And Independence, Including When Returning Home Following A Hospital Stay.The Council Is Exploring A Model Built Around Three Key Functions:Professional Access To Community Supportproviding Health, Social Care And Housing Professionals With Access To Community Knowledge, Local Expertise And Information About Available Support.This May Include:•A Single Point Of Contact For Community-Based Solutions.•Access To Vcse Knowledge And Expertise.•Facilitating Information Sharing Across Organisations.•Maintaining Resources That Help Professionals Identify Appropriate Support.Individual Wellbeing Support Grants & Signpostingproviding Flexible, Practical Assistance That Helps People Remain Safe And Independent Within Their Communities And Supports Timely Discharge From Hospital Where Appropriate.This May Include:•Access To Small, Personalised Interventions That Address Barriers To Returning Home Safely.•Rapid Responses To Low-Level Practical Needs.•Support That Complements Statutory Services And Reduces Dependency On Formal Interventions.•A Focus On Prevention, Recovery And Independence.•Signposting, Advice And Guidance On Local Community And Statutory Support.Community Intelligence And Partnershipsacting As A Bridge Between Communities, Vcse Organisations And Statutory Partners To Improve Understanding Of Local Needs And Available Support.This May Include:•Identifying Gaps In Provision.•Sharing Intelligence From Frontline Organisations And Communities.•Supporting Collaboration Across The Local System.•Attending And Organising Community Information Events.•Informing Future Service Development And Commissioning Activity.Desired Outcomesthe Council Is Seeking A Service That:•Improves Access To Community-Based Support.•Helps People Remain Independent And Connected To Their Communities.•Supports Timely And Sustainable Hospital Discharge.•Reduces The Time Professionals Spend Identifying Appropriate Sources Of Support.•Strengthens Relationships Between Statutory Partners And The Vcse Sector.•Improves Understanding Of Local Needs, Assets And Gaps In Provision.•Demonstrates Positive Outcomes For Residents And Value For Money For The Wider System.The Community Wellbeing Partnership Service Tender Opportunity Is Anticipated To Be Published Via Supplying The South West In September 2026.To Register Your Attendance For The Market Engagement Event, Please Contact Eliza Atyeo, Senior Commissioning Officer For Prevention And Wellbeing, By Email At [email protected] By Monday 3Rd August 2026.
