The Ministry Of Justice And Migration Of Baden-Württemberg (Client) Intends To Procure A Virtual Court - Courtroom Of The Future In Accordance With Number 1.1 Of The Evb-It System Contract. The Entire System Is Intended To Be Used In The Judiciary To Prepare Proceedings And For Presentation In Court. The Overall System Consists Of The -Cave System (In Particular Consisting Of Led-Based Visualization, Tracking, 3D Glasses, Energy Management And Network Components, Control And Visualization Software Of 3D Data) And All Other Services Required To Bring The Cave System Into Operational Readiness* As Well As All Coordination With The Client And/Or Other Relevant Stakeholders (Here In Particular With The Locally Responsible State Office For Assets And Construction) Necessary To Bring About Operational Readiness* Baden-Württemberg (Hereinafter Assets And Construction) And It Baden-Württemberg (Hereinafter Bitbw)). -Vr Glasses Including Accessories (E.G. Controller, Charging Cable, Connection Cable For Glasses And Computer) And Installation And Operating Software To Ensure Operational Readiness* (E.G. Control And Visualization Software For 3D Data). The Cave System Is To Be Designed As A Stationary Solution For Judicial Buildings And Is Intended To Sustainably Improve Court Proceedings. It Is Primarily Used For Presentation At Court Hearings. The Vr Glasses Are Intended To Be Used As A Mobile Solution For Trial Preparation (Preparation Of Presentations At Court Hearings Via The Cave System). Regardless Of Their Respective Focus Of Use And Application, Both The Cave System And The Vr Glasses Should In Principle Be Able To Be Used For Presentations At Court Hearings As Well As For Trial Preparation. The Entire System Must Be Created, Operated And Continuously Maintained Using The Free, Open-Source And Modular Visualization System Covise (Collaborative Visualization And Simulation Environment). In Addition To The Actual Software Environment, Covise Also Includes The Components And Subsystems Required For Operation, In Particular Opencover As A Visualization And Rendering Component. The Contractor Is Therefore Obliged To Acquire The Knowledge Required To Use Covise And To Install Covise On The Required Workstations In Accordance With The Specifications Of This Contract And The Service Description, And To Continuously Maintain And Document It In Accordance With Number 5.
