Work Detail
Passenger Information System – Dfi Display Technology 7. Expansion Stage Type 7. Stoag Stadtwerke Oberhausen Gmbh (Hereinafter Referred To As Stoag) Has Been Operating A Dynamic Passenger Information System At The Oberhausen Hauptbahnhof Stop Since 1994. This System, Which Was Very Advanced At The Time, Had The Target Timetable For All Vehicles And Received The Location Information Of The Vehicles Via Specially Adapted Lsa Telegrams. This Technology Has Proven To Be Reliable Over The Years, But Has Now Become Outdated. In Particular, The Special Telegram Used Proved To Be An Obstacle When Integrating Vehicles From Neighboring Companies. For This Reason, A New Dfo Center Was Installed In 2005. The Trams Are Located Via Coupling Coils And Signaling Loops Installed In The Track Area, The Buses By Sending Out Lsa Telegrams. For This Purpose, Several Lsa Receivers Are Installed In The City To Achieve Good Coverage. This Dfo Headquarters Is Heading To 222 Today. The Indicators Along The Public Transport Route Are Connected Directly To The Dfo Headquarters Via Stoags Own Fiber Optic Network. There Are Also 3 Lsa Receivers Along The Public Transport Route Directly Connected To The Dfo Headquarters Via The Fiber Optic Network. With A Few Exceptions, The Stops In The Wider City Area Have Their Own Stop Computer With Target Data Storage And Their Own Lsa Receiver Built Into The Display. This Stop Computer Is Housed In One Of The Display Housings, The Other Displays For These Stops Are Connected Via Dect. The Stop Computers Are Connected To The Dfo Headquarters Via The Public Mobile Phone Network. During Regular Operation, The Dfo Center Carries Out Vehicle Tracking And Display Control; The Stop Computer Only Ensures Quick Sign-Out. If The Connection To The Control Center Is Disrupted, The Stop Computer Takes Over The Entire Vehicle Location And Display Control For This Stop. An Itcs System From The Manufacturer Trapeze Is Currently Under Construction. After Completion, The Vehicles Are Located Via The Itcs System, But The Dfo Center Continues To Control The Displays (Type 4). The Type 7 Indicators Are Initially Controlled Via The Vrr Data Hub And, Once Completed, Also Directly Via The Itcs.
