Expression of Interest for Contract for Climate Proof Preparation of Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (Esia) and Resettlement Action Plan (Rap) for Rehabilitation and Expansion of Lichinga and Cuamba Cities Water Supply Systems The scope of services under the assignment includes: a) Preparation of Environmental and Social Screening for Lichinga and Cuamba in alignment with The African Development Bank Integrated Safeguards Systems 2023 (AfDB ISS 2023). b) Preparation of Pre-Feasibility Study and Environmental Scoping (EPDA) and preparation of a Terms of Reference (ToR) for the ESIA. c) Preparation of Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), including an Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) after the approval of the EPDA and ToR. d) Preparation of Resettlement Action Plan (RAP). e) Requesting the Environmental License (EL) to MAAP upon approval of the ESIA including ESMP and RAP reports. f) Review Legal and Policy Framework. g) Analyse Environmental and Social Implications of Proposed Project Activities; and h) Analyse Alternative Project Planning Scenarios and Approaches.
