The tenure of the external Auditor shall not exceed five (5) continuous years. QUALIFICATION: Expression of interest is therefore invited from reputable accounting firms that wish to be considered as External Auditor to the Federal College of Agriculture, Ishiagu. Interested firms should submit applications with relevant documents about the organization, as specified below. CRITERIA FOR APPOINTMENT AS EXTERNAL AUDITOR ARE: 1. Brief on the firm 2. Location of head office and branches in Nigeria 3. Name of partners 4. Evidence of License to Practice (LTP) and CAC registration. 5. Key clients and their areas of business, contact persons and their functional phone numbers/emails address. 6. Evidence of audit services in public sector organizations, especially tertiary institutions 7. Summary of strength, qualifications and experience of partners and staff 8. Evidence of litigations against the firm and or foreign affiliates if any, in the past three (3) years 9. Be registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants on Nigeria (ICAN)and / or the Association on National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) 10. Evidence of registration with office of the Auditor General of the Federation 11. Evidence of company current tax clearance certificates for the last 3 years. 12. License to practice as an Audit firm 13. Clearance certificate from Nigeria Social Insurance Trust fund 14. National Pension Commission clearance certificate 15.
