The Purpose Of The Procurement Is To Carry Out An Applied Study To Evaluate The Effect Of The Feed Additive 3-Nitrooxypropanol (3-Nop) And Selected Feed Materials (E.G. Rapeseed Cake, Fatty Acids) On Reducing Methane Emissions From Intestinal Fermentation Of Dairy Cows Under Estonian Conditions. The Study Also Assesses The Impact On Animal Health And Welfare, Milk Composition And Production, And The Biogas/Biomethane Production Potential Of Manure. 356,000 Euros Have Been Allocated For The Implementation Of The Applied Research, Of Which 353,600 Euros For The Implementation Of The Applied Research And 2,400 Euros For Public Presentation Of The Research Results On Two Occasions.
