He Owner Invites Bids For Construction Of The Work, Which In General Terms, Will Consist Of The Following: Removal And Disposal Of Existing Filter Media From The Six (6) Existing Manganese Greensandpressure Filters. Internal Inspection Of Filter Vessels, Underdrain Systems, Distributors, Nozzles, Strainers, Andassociated Internal Components. Optional Work Includes Replacement Of Damaged Or Fouled Components Within The Pressure Filter. Replacement Of Filter Media, Including Manganese Greensand, Anthracite, Gravel And Torpedo Sand In The Six (6) Pressure Filters, Completedsequentially To Maintain Potable Water Production. Chlorination And Bacterial Testing Of Pressure Filters.
