Winter Maintenance Activities Are Carried Out Between 01 November And 10 April, Depending On Weather Conditions, And May Be Carried Out Earlier Or Later Than This Period. Winter Maintenance Covers The Municipal Street Network, Municipal Roads (Specified In The Technical Specification), Sidewalks, Underpasses, Overpasses, Mgt Stops And Other Places For Public Use, As Well As Removal Of Icicles From Bridge Facilities On The Territory Of The Municipality Of Dobrich. It Includes Preparatory Work: Inspections Of The Machinery And Equipment Requested For Use By The Contracting Authority, Provision Of The Necessary Materials, Transport Of Crates And Placement Of Heaps Of Aggregates In Certain Places, Etc.; Snow Removal (Patrol And Periodic) On The Streets Until The Appropriate Degree And Level Of Winter Maintenance Is Achieved, Removal Of Compacted Snow-Ice Layers; Dispersal Of Mineral Materials And Chemical Substances, Collection And Transmission Of Information About The Condition Of The Street Network, Provision Of On-Duty Duty During Non-Working Hours And On-Duty Duty On Holidays And Weekends During The Winter Period. Priority Is Given To Snow Clearing Of The Streets, And The Routes Are Determined According To The General Scheme Of The Urban Transport Lines And Streets With Intense Traffic, Described In The Technical Specification. The Activities Under The Contract Cover Two Winter Operating Seasons. The Operational Winter Season Is Considered To Be The Period From November 1 To April 30 Of The Following Year, And The Service Is Also Performed Outside The Above-Mentioned Period, In The Presence Of Snowfall And Icing, Ascertained By A Protocol Signed By Representatives Of The Contractor And The Contractor. ​​​​​​​
