The Zurich Airport Intends To Procure Formate-Based Airfield Surface De-Icing Agents Under This Tender, Consisting Of Liquid Potassium Formate And Granular Sodium Formate. The Products Offered Must Not Contain Azoles And/Or Urea. Furthermore, The Products Must Comply With The Sae Ams 1435E Standard. Zurich Airport Ltd. Has An On-Site Storage Capacity For Liquid De-Icing Agents Of Approximately 750,000 Litres. The Supplier Shall Maintain An Emergency Stock Of 200,000 Litres Of Liquid Surface De-Icing Agent In The Immediate Vicinity Of Zurich Airport Throughout The Winter Season. Emergency Deliveries From This Reserve Stock Must Be Guaranteed At All Times, Including Sundays And Public Holidays. Deliveries Must Be Made By Road Tanker Truck, As Zurich Airport Ltd. Does Not Have A Rail Connection. Over The Past Nine Years, The Average Annual Consumption Amounted To Approximately 850,000 Litres Of Liquid Surface De-Icing Agent And 10 Tonnes Of Granular Surface De-Icing Agent. The Indication Of The Average Seasonal Consumption Does Not Constitute Any Commitment On The Part Of Zurich Airport Ltd. To Purchase Specific Quantities From The Supplier.
