Likewise, It Reduces The Risk Of Death And Reduces Complications Derived From Prolonged Hypoxia Or Multiple Organ Failure. Not Having These Benefits Significantly Limits The Facilitys Resolution Capacity In The Face Of Highly Complex Critical Emergencies, Forcing Referrals That Can Delay The Start Of Advanced Life Support And Increase The Risk Of Mortality, Serious Sequelae And Irreversible Complications In Patients. Therefore, It Is Essential To Tender This Service, Since With The Institutional Resources It Is Not Possible To Respond To All The Demand Generated For These Procedures And Services. Likewise, The Lack Of Availability Of Ecmo Can Generate Saturation Of The Care Network, An Increase In Stays In Critical Units And Difficulties In Meeting The Standards Of Timeliness And Continuity Of Care Required For Critical Patients.
