The Service Includes Two Servers And A Fiber Channel Storage System On Which Virtual Sap Systems Based On Vmware Are To Be Operated. The Two New Servers Will Primarily Be Connected To The Storage System To Be Procured Via Fiber Channel. In Addition, The New Servers Must Be Able To Be Connected To An Existing Iscsi Storage Infrastructure Based On An Hpe Msa 2070. In The Future, The Storage System To Be Procured Must Be Usable Or Retrofitted Accordingly For Other Server Systems Via Iscsi In Addition To The Fiber Channel Connection For The Sap Servers. The Contractor Owes A Fully Compatible, Manufacturer-Supported Overall Solution That Is Suitable For The Intended Purpose. • 2 Servers • 1 Fiber Channel Storage System • 2 Fiber Channel Switches • All Transceivers, Cables, Licenses, Rack Rails, Power Cables And Other Accessories Required For Operation • Assembly, Firmware/Bios Update, Standard Tests And Documentation Of The Delivered Configuration • Operating Systems Are Not To Be Installed The Contractor Must Provide The Following Services In Particular: • Check The Overall Configuration Offered For Compatibility, Supportability And Suitability For The Intended Operation • Delivery Of The Server, Storage And San Technology Fully Assembled And Including All Components Required For Operation • Delivery Of The Necessary Assembly And Installation Material, In Particular Rack Rails, Cables, Transceivers, Power Connection Cables And Other Accessories • Assembly Of The Server, Storage And San Technology • Carrying Out Standard Tests • Setting Up The Required Raid Or Redundancy Configurations • Updating Firmware, Bios, Controller Firmware And Management Firmware To A Current Version Approved By The Manufacturer • Documentation Of The Delivered Configuration Including Essential Components, Serial Numbers, Firmware Versions, Support Periods And Proof Of License. Communication During The Provision Of The Service Takes Place In German. Employees Employed With Direct Contact With The Client Must Have German Language Skills At Least At Level C1 Or Equivalent Language Skills. The Service Should Be Provided As Quickly As Possible.
