Biowaste Is Biodegradable Waste From Gardens And Parks, Food And Kitchen Waste From Households, Restaurants, Catering And Retail Establishments And Similar Waste From The Food Industry In Accordance With Article 4, Paragraph 1, Point 3 Of The Waste Management Act (Official Gazette 84/21, 142/23). Biodegradable Waste Is Any Waste Or Part Of Waste That Undergoes Anaerobic Or Aerobic Decomposition, Such As Garden Waste, Food Waste And Paper And Cardboard. Biowaste Is Not Intended For Disposal At A Landfill In Accordance With Article 39, Paragraph 1, Item 9 Of The Waste Management Act (Official Gazette 84/21, 142/23). The Disposal Of Separately Collected Waste For The Purpose Of Preparation For Reuse And Recycling In Accordance With Article 22 Of This Act Is Prohibited At The Landfill, Except For Waste Generated By The Processing Of Separately Collected Waste For Which Disposal Provides The Best Outcome For The Environment In Accordance With The Waste Management Hierarchy.
