Railway Equipment – Rétrofit Installation Sable - Paris Austerlitz. An Installation, Commissioned In 1993, Exists For Filling Locomotives With Sand; It Is Located On The Ivry Sur Seine Site. It Is Made Up Of 12 Sand Distribution Points. The Technical Room, Including A Compressor, A Dryer And An Electrical Cabinet For Managing The Sand Pits And At The Back Of This Room A 17M3 Silo Will Be Demolished Because It Is Considered Dilapidated And No Longer Suitable. A New Technical Room Will Be Available To Review All The Equipment Necessary To Resupply The 12 Sand Pits.
