Consulting Services - Firms Selection Assignment Title: Structural Stability Assessment of Heritage Buildings: (A) Old Town Hall (2 Stories) and (B) Edinborough Market Pettah (Single Storey)Country : Sri Lanka. The consultancy assignment includes, but is not limited to: a. Review of available architectural, structural and historical information. b. Detailed structural inspections of identified heritage buildings. c. Structural condition assessment and structural analysis. cl. Limited Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), where necessary. e. Assessment of foundations and superstructure. f. Natural hazard vulnerability assessment. g. Identification of structural deficiencies and safety risks. h. Preparation of recommendations for structural stabilization, strengthening and conservation while preserving the heritage significance of the buildings. i. Preparation of indicative cost estimates for recommended interventions.
