Jul 2026 Intervention Sector(s): Communications & Media Remuneration range: 2000 to 3000 (USD) Duration of Contract: 6 Weeks Context & Background Berytech is a leading organization in the Innovation Eco-system in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for Innovation Ecosystem players in Lebanon through the Lebanon Innovate Program, a 42-month program funded by the European Union to revitalize the Lebanese entrepreneurial ecosystem and the productive sectors. The program, based on an innovation roadmap, fosters innovation through supporting Intellectual Property (IP) and knowledge transfer allowing the country to become a knowledge-driven digital nation at the front end of innovation. Background The Lebanese innovation ecosystem is characterized by fragmentation and scattered resources, which have hindered it from achieving its potential. Despite a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a well-educated workforce, the ecosystem faces significant challenges. One major issue is the lack of coordination and collaboration among the various stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, investors, academia, industry, business support organizations and government. This has led to a fragmented landscape, with initiatives and resources scattered across various institutions and organizations. As a result, entrepreneurs, researchers, and innovators often struggle to access the support and resources they need to develop their ideas and businesses. Description: The Lebanon Innovate Impact Report will serve as a comprehensive publication documenting the programs overall impact across its full implementation period. The report will highlight the programs objectives, activities, results, key milestones, partnerships, success stories, and long-term contributions to Lebanons innovation ecosystem. The report should go beyond listing activities and should clearly demonstrate what changed as a result of the program. It should combine strong storytelling, clear data presentation, beneficiary insights, visuals, and a professional structure that reflects the importance of the program and its EU-funded nature. The impact report will be used for dissemination among the European Union, program partners, ecosystem stakeholders, universities, industry representatives, policymakers, donors, and the wider innovation community. Scope of work and Deliverables The service provider will be responsible for developing the full Lebanon Innovate Impact Report, including content structure, writing, editing, and coordination with Berytechs team for input, validation, and feedback. The service provider will be responsible for: Reviewing program documents, reports, data, communication materials, and relevant background information provided by Berytech. Understanding the full journey of Lebanon Innovate from its beginning until its closing phase. Developing a clear skeleton or outline for the impact report, including proposed sections, flow, key themes, and content structure. Submitting the skeleton or outline to Berytech for review and approval before proceeding with the full report. Developing the full content of the impact report following approval of the outline. Handling the layout and design of the impact report in a professional, visually engaging, and reader-friendly format. Presenting key data, figures, milestones, and achievements through clear visuals, infographics, and designed sections where needed. Highlighting the programs main achievements, milestones, outcomes, partnerships, and ecosystem-level impact. Integrating key statistics, success stories, testimonials, case studies, and examples where available. Ensuring the report reflects the role of the European Union, Berytech, and all implementing partners. Ensuring that the report is written in a clear, professional, and engaging tone suitable for institutional, donor, and ecosystem audiences. Coordinating with Berytechs team for feedback rounds, edits, and approvals. Delivering the final polished and designed version of the impact report within the agreed timeline (as per the table in the attached document). Reporting and CommunicationThe service provider will coordinate closely with Berytech throughout the assignment to ensure alignment, accuracy, and timely delivery. The reporting and communication process will include: Kick-off Meeting: Alignment with Berytech on the reports objectives, audience, tone, available materials, and expected output. Content Review: Review of all available documents, program data, previous reports, communication materials, and relevant references shared by Berytech. Outline Submission: Submission of a detailed skeleton, outline, and design for Berytechs review and approval before full drafting begins. Drafting Phase: Development of the full impact report content and design based on the approved outline. Feedback Rounds: Integration of Berytechs comments and requested edits. Final Handover: Submission of the final approved report content by the end of the 6-week assignment. Evaluation and Approval: Quality Criteria: Strategic Understanding: The report should clearly reflect the objectives, achievements, and impact of Lebanon Innovate. Evidence-Based Reporting: The report should rely on verified data, program results, and approved information provided by Berytech. Clarity and Professional Tone: The writing should be clear, polished, and suitable for institutional and donor audiences. Impact-Oriented Approach: The report should focus on outcomes, change, and legacy, not only activities. Accuracy: All information, names, figures, partner mentions, and program references should be accurate and validated. Timely Delivery: All deliverables should be submitted according to the agreed 6-week timeline. Approval Process: Berytech will review and approve the initial skeleton, outline, and design before the service provider proceeds with the full report. Berytech will review the first full draft and provide comments. The service provider will integrate feedback and submit a revised version. Berytech will grant final approval upon submission of the final polished report content. Budget The total budget allocated for this assignment is 3,000 Euros, inclusive of all fees related to the development, drafting, editing, coordination, and finalization of the Lebanon Innovate Impact Report content.
