The Independent Gambling Control Office (Igco) Requires Testing Of Total Carbon Dioxide(Tco2) Equine Samples By A Canadian Pari-Mutuel Agency (Cpma) Approved Laboratory.Thecpma Recommends Racing Forensics Inc., A Vendor Currently Accredited By The Standardscouncil Of Canada (Scc) For Tco2 Testing And Forensic Equine Sample Collection And Is Theonly Laboratory In Western Canada With An Instrument Approved By The Cpma.Igco Could Not Fulfil This Obligation To Test One Thoroughbred Horse From Each Race And Twostandardbred Horses From Each Race, Without This Contract. This Would Result In The Inabilityfor Races To Occur And Impact The Overall Operations Of Horse Racing In Bc.
