This Call For Tender Concerns The Acquisition Of Two Laser Systems For Cooling Rubidium. System 1 (Repumper): Laser Emitting At 780.24 Nm On The D2 Line Of Rubidium With The Following Characteristics: - Minimum Useful Fiber Output Power Of 25 Mw At The Nominal Wavelength (50 Mw Would Be Appreciated) - Line Width (Linewidth) Of The Free Laser Less Than 100 Khz At 1 Ms - Isolation Stage Of At Least 30 Db - Fiber Output, Fc/Apc Connector, With A Polarization-Maintaining Single-Mode Fiber Of Length Greater Than 1.5 M (A Length Of 5 M With A 3 Mm Diameter Sheath Would Be Desired) - Linear Polarization At Better Than 20:1 - Scanning Without Mode Hopping (Hope Free Mode) Over A Range Greater Than 7 Ghz - External Modulation Input For Feedback On The Frequency Of The Laser With A Bandwidth Greater Than 1 Mhzelectronics For Current Control And Temperature Stabilization Of The Laser Systemelectronics For Controlling The Frequency Of The Laser System 1: - A Pi/Pid Type Servo Module With A Bandwidth Of At Least 30 Khz; - A Modulation/Demodulation Module (Pound-Drever-Hall Type) Operating At 20 Mhz Making It Possible To Generate An Error Signal From The Spectroscopy Signal Of The Rubidium. The Reference Oscillator At 20 Mhz Is Included In This Call For Competition (Ac). The Modulation Is Carried Out By Means Of An Electro-Optical Modulator (Eom) Which Is Not Part Of This Ac. System 2 (Cooler): Laser Emitting At 780.24 Nm On The D2 Line Of Rubidium With The Following Characteristics: Useful Power At The Fiber Output Greater Than 1W At The Wavelength Nominal - Linewidth Of The Free Laser Less Than 500 Khz At 1 Ms - Fiber Output, Fc/Apc Connector, With Single-Mode Polarization-Maintaining Fiber Of Length Greater Than 1.5M (A Length Of 5M With A 3Mm Diameter Sheath Would Be Desired) - Linear Polarization Better Than 100:1 - Ase < -35Db At Nominal Wavelength - Beam Quality At Fiber Output M² <1.1- External Modulation Input For Feedback On The Frequency Of The Laser With A Bandwidth Greater Than 1 Mhzthe Architecture Of The Laser Including The Different Isolation Stages Will Be Specified.Electronics For Current Control And Temperature Stabilization Of The Laser Systemelectronics For Controlling The Frequency Of The Laser System 2:- A Pi/Pid Type Servo Module With A Bandwidth Of At Least 30 Khzthe Generation Of The Error Signal For The Servo-Control Is Not Included In This Ac.
