The Aim Of The Improving Noordervaart Water Supply Project Is To Realize A Robust And Future-Proof Water Management System Around Lock 15, Which Will Increase The Water Supply To Both The Noordervaart And The Zuid-Willemsvaart. The Assignment Is Carried Out In Two Phases: A Construction Team Phase For The Joint Elaboration Of The Design And Preparation For The Implementation (Phase 1), Followed By The Realization Phase (Phase 2). The Work Mainly Consists Of Replacing Outdated And Worn Structures, Increasing The Drainage Capacity Under Gravity And Implementing Measures For Additional Water Supply. For The Noordervaart, This Concerns Adjustments And Major Maintenance For Drought Control In The Peel Region.
