Bids Are Invited For Engineering Consulting Services

The Municipal District Of Bonnyville No. 87 (Md) Protective Services Department Wishes To Enter Into A Three (3)-Year Standing Offer Agreement (Soa) With A Qualified Consulting Firm And/Or Consultant, Including Any Subcontracted Services. The Purpose Of The Soa Is To Supplement In-House Resources And Provide Direct Access To Industry Expertise For The Review, Analysis, And Preparation Of Recommendations. Services Will Include Supporting Quality Customer Service, Effective Project Delivery, Consistent And Reliable Engineering Services, Refined Budgeting, And The Preparation Of Supporting Documentation And Drawings.The Successful Consultant Will Be Expected To Become Familiar With The Md’S Policies And Procedures, Organizational Structure, And Operating And Software Systems. In Addition, The Consultant Shall Become Familiar With The Md’S Master Plans And Strategic Initiatives.The Consultant Shall Be Available On An On-Call Basis To Address Any Engineering Consulting Requirements The Md May Have Throughout The Term Of The Soa.Mr. Gandolfi Will Act As The Project Sponsor, Providing Strategic Oversight And Approvals. The Proponent’S Project Manager Shall Be Responsible For Day-To-Day Management, Coordination, And Reporting.The Successful Proponent Shall Provide Professional Engineering Services, Including But Not Limited To:• Planning, Feasibility Studies, And Options Analysis• Conceptual, Preliminary, And Detailed Design• Preparation Of Technical Reports, Drawings, And Specifications• Cost Estimating And Scheduling Support• Permitting And Regulatory Approval Support• Preparation Of Tender Documents• Construction Contract Administration• Site Services And Inspections• Deficiency Management And Project Closeoutservices May Span Multiple Disciplines Depending On Project Requirements.
