The Project Contemplates The Enabling Of The Alfa Taxiway As An Operational Aeronautical Runway, Through Demarcation Work, Adaptation Of The Safety Strip And Commissioning Of The Visual Aids And Radio Aids Systems Previously Installed And Maintained In A Hibernation State. For Its Operational Certification, The Participation Of Comsa And Adb Safegate Specialists Is Considered During The Tests And Engineering Flights Carried Out By The Dgac. Additionally, The Project Includes The Expansion Of The Commercial Apron In The South-East Sector Of The Airport, Through The Construction Of A New High-Resistance Concrete Surface, As Well As The Replacement Of Deteriorated Pavements Under Boarding Posts No. 1, 2 And 3, In Order To Improve Operational Conditions And Reduce Risks Associated With Releases Of Fod Material On The Apron.
