Work Detail
Communication Land-Line Rental – Set Up And Operate A Dynamic Procurement System To Procure Fiber Optic Connections For Dataport. In The National Networks Of Dataports Sponsoring Countries, There Is A Continuous Need For Fiber Optic-Based Connections (Dark Fiber) Due To New Installations, Relocations And Closures Of Locations, As Well As The Replacement Of Existing Connections. For This Purpose, The Client Intends To Use A Dynamic Procurement System (Dbs) In Accordance With Section 120 Paragraph 1 Gwb In Conjunction With. V. M. §§ 22 – 24 Vgv To Be Introduced. Interested, Suitable Applicants Can Be Included In This Dbs Throughout Its Entire Term. Within The Dbs, Contracts Are Awarded According To The Rules Of The Restricted Procedure (Section 22 Para. 2 Vgv). The Plan Is Currently To Award Up To 1,000 Dark Fibers Between 2026 And 2033. Although The Tender Applies To All Dataport Sponsoring Countries, The Majority Of These Existing Connections Run Within Schleswig-Holstein. These Connections Will Be Reassigned Within The Dynamic Procurement System After Their Respective Minimum Contract Terms Have Expired, Which Extends From 2026 To 2033. Particularly For Local Providers With Limited Expansion Areas, This Means That They Are Already Taking Part In The Competition, Even Though The First Awards Within Their Expansion Areas Will Only Take Place Months Or Even Years Later. In Order To Minimize The Resulting Uncertainty And Administrative Effort For Everyone Involved, The Responsible Department At Dataport, In The Form Of The Broadband Office, Relies On Proactive Communication With The Companies Registered In The Participant Pool And Will Provide Information Via The Bidder Portal During The Term Of The Dbs At Which Time And In Which Area Awards Are Planned. The Project-Specific Requirements And Minimum Criteria Of The Connections As Well As The Contractual Conditions Result From The Tender Documents, Which Are Made Available To The Approved Applicants At The Time Of The Request To Submit An Offer. For The Information Of Interested Companies, A Draft Of An Exemplary Service Description Is Attached To These Participation Documents. The Client Points Out That The Technical Requirements, Minimum Criteria And Contractual Regulations Can Be Adapted To The Clients Needs Or Supplemented By New Requirements During The Term Of The Dbs. Furthermore, For Connections With Special Requirements, These Can Be Expanded With Additional, Optional Minimum Criteria. The Contractor Provides The Client (Data Port) With A Fiber Optic-Based Connection (Dark Fiber) Between Two Named End Points
