Tenders are invited for Upgrading and Expanding the Bahrain Tidal Network (BTN) Tender Type: Public Tender Tender Description: The Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) of Bahrain plans to upgrade and expand the Bahrain Tidal Network (BTN) to enhance tidal monitoring and ensure reliable long-term data for hydrographic, maritime and coastal management. The existing network of 12 radar-based stations will be dismantled and replaced due to aging equipment and harsh marine conditions. The project includes installing at least 15 modern, non-contact tide gauge stations (radar preferred, with ultrasonic or laser alternatives) across existing and new coastal sites.Each station will feature autonomous power, data logging, and advanced communication systems, integrated with the SLRB web portal for real-time monitoring.The system must support scalability, alarms, third-party sensors, and secure data management. Contractor will handle installation, calibration, testing, documentation, and optional maintenance services. The project aim to have new monitoring network that will support Bahrain maritime safety framework.
