Work Detail
Npp - 12 Foot Observatory Dome . The National Research Council Canada Has A Requirement For The Supply Of A Large Clamshell Observatory Dome That Opens Entirely To Allow For Full Sky Tracking. The Dome Must Have A Freestanding Base, With A Total Weight Less Than 1,000 Lbs. The Side Door Should Be At Least 28” X 68” In Size. The Clear Usable Height Inside Should Be At Least 3.5 M And The Diameter Should Be At Least 3.6 M But At Most 4 M To Fit On Our Existing Platform. In Order To Be Controlled From A Distance, The Dome Must Have A Motorized Opening And Computer Interfacing. The Successful Delivery Of This Observatory Dome Will Improve Our Ability To Perform Experiments Using Outdoor Telescopes And Contribute To Improved Research Outcomes.
