Architectural, Construction, Engineering And Inspection Services – Municipality Of Eschelbronn - Awarding Of Property Planning Services For The New Building Of The Eschelbronn Cultural And Sports Hall. The Municipality Of Eschelbronn Is The Owner Of The Culture And Sports Hall, Which Was Planned And Built In The Mid-1970S. An Extension With A Club Room And Visitor Toilet Facilities Was Later Added On The Southeast Side. The Hall Is Used For Both Sports And Events. The Roof Of The Hall Was Renovated At The Beginning Of The 2000S. Due To The Advanced Age Of The Building And The Obvious Need For Renovation, The Municipality Of Eschelbronn Commissioned An Architectural Office To Prepare A Renovation Report In 2025. Given Changing Usage Requirements, This Report Also Included The Investigation Of Expansion Options, Particularly With Regard To Spectator Facilities Such As A Grandstand, A Foyer, A Catering Area And Additional Toilet Facilities. The Costs For The Renovation, Conversion And Expansion Of The Existing Hall Were Estimated In The Report (See Excerpt, Appendix 2) At A Total Of Eur 10,390,000.00 Gross (Kg 200-400 And 600-700). Given These Significant Investment Costs, The Construction Of A New Building Of Comparable Size Was Also Examined. The Projected Costs For This, Including The Demolition Of The Existing Building, Amount To Eur 11,845,000.00 Gross According To The Architectural Offices Cost Estimate (See Excerpt From The Renovation Report, Appendix 2). Taking These Framework Conditions Into Account, The New Building Represents The More Economical Solution From The Communitys Perspective. The Local Council Has Therefore Voted In Favor Of Building A New Culture And Sports Hall. The Municipalitys Goal Is To Avoid Exceeding The Forecast Costs If Possible; At The Same Time, There Is Openness To Economic And Pragmatic Optimization Suggestions From Bidders. The New Building Is To Be Built On The Existing Gravel Parking Lot (Schloßstraße 25, 74927 Eschelbronn) Of The Culture And Sports Hall. In Particular, The Spatial Proximity To The Schlosswiesenschule Elementary School And The Gymnastics And Tennis Club Halls Must Be Taken Into Account. The Demolition Of The Existing Hall Is Only Planned After The New Building Has Been Completed And Put Into Operation. The Existing Trees In The Area Should Be Preserved If Possible. In The Future, A Permanent Parking Lot Is Planned To Be Created On The Site Of The Existing Culture And Sports Hall. A Pile Foundation Is Planned For The New Building; A Foundation Depth Of Around 6 Meters Is Currently Assumed. The Existing Gravel Parking Lot Has Been Used In Its Current Function Since 1974. A Heat Pipe Runs On The Existing Gravel Parking Lot Between The Existing Culture And Sports Hall And The Elementary School. This Must Be Relocated Or Taken Into Account During The Construction Phase. For The New Building, The Municipality Intends To Commission An Architect Who, Together With A Team Of Specialist Planners, Will Take Care Of The Economic, Technical, Functional And Design Aspects
