The Aim Of The Call For Tenders Is To Commission A Project Sponsorship That Supports The Responsible Specialist Department Of The Federal Ministry For Research, Technology And Space (Bmftr). It Is Intended To Help Plan, Carry Out And Control Funding Tasks In The Areas Of Communication Technologies And Cybersecurity. The Support Includes In Particular The Following Tasks: • Technical And Administrative Support Of The Specialist Department In All Phases Of Project Funding (From Advising Interested Parties And Applicants To Reviewing Applications Including Assessment By Expert Committees, Support During The Term Up To Proof Of Use In Accordance With The Project Funding Handbook), • Further Development Of The Funding Measures (From The Analysis Of Research And Development In The Area Of Communication Technologies And Cybersecurity As Well As The Assessment Of Research Policy And Scientific Knowledge To The Preparation Of Technical Assessments And Conceptual Ones Working On Funding Announcements), • Participation In The Program Development Of The Two Successor Programs, Which Will Be Published In The First Half Of 2027 And • Implementation Of Innovation-Supporting Measures For Specialist Communication, Recruiting Young Talent, As Well As Establishing And Expanding Networks With Partners From Science, Business And Politics And Creating Favorable Framework Conditions At National And European Levels.
