Air Transport Services – Helicopter Stand-By In North Norway. Helicopter Emergency Preparedness Services For The Police In Northern Norway, Including Helicopter Transportation Of Police Personnel With Equipment, Weapons, And Ammunition. The Service Primarily Includes Helicopter Capacity, Which Is Available 24 Hours A Day, With A Maximum Response Time Of One Hour, Year Round, For Transportation Of Personnel From The Police With Weapons And Equipment Over The Mainland Area, Both Day And Night. Other Helicopter Services May Also Be Required, Including Planned And General Missions, Basic Search And Rescue Operations Carried Out In Support Of Police Purposes, As Well As The Possible Use Of Avalanche Transceivers.
