The New Building Is To Be Connected To The Existing Cafeteria Building And The Sports Facilities. A Sustainable, Barrier-Free School Building Is Planned With Particular Attention To Quality Of Stay, The Use Of Wood As A Building Material And A Co2-Neutral Energy Supply. In The Course Of The Originally Planned General Renovation With A Partial New Construction Of The Secondary School Including A Triple Sports Hall, It Was Decided That A Completely New Building Would Be The More Sensible And Economical Option. The Spatial Program In The Preliminary Planning Assumed Fewer Students, So The School Building Is Currently Being Revised. The New Triple Sports Hall And A Swimming Pool Have Already Been Built Or Are In The Completion Phase. These Are Ordered Separately. The Basis For Further Building Planning Is The Present Draft And The Spatial Program Agreed With The Government Of The Upper Palatinate. Overall, The New School Building Should Give A Bright, Pleasant And Inviting Impression. Particular Emphasis Is Placed On The Quality Of Stay In The School Building In General And Particularly In The Areas Of The Auditorium, Break Hall, School Corridors, Common Areas For Students, Teachers Rooms, Work Rooms For Teachers And The Playground.
