Work Detail
Architectural, Construction, Engineering And Inspection Services – Tnw_Hls_Stadtwerke Landshut_Successive Renovation Of The Landshut Indoor Swimming Pool. Stadtwerke Landshut, A Municipal Company Owned By The City Of Landshut, Operates The Municipal Swimming Pool At Dammstrasse 28, 84034 Landshut. The Associated Indoor Swimming Pool Was Built In The Early 1970S And Includes A Multi-Purpose Pool With A Swimming Area, Diving Pit And Non-Swimmer Area As Well As A Teaching Pool, Spacious Changing And Sanitary Areas, A Sauna Area And A Catering Area. The Catchment Area Extends Over The City Of Landshut And Almost The Entire Landshut District. In 2024, The Indoor Swimming Pool Recorded An Average Of Around 340 Visitors Per Day. Despite Various Renovation Measures In The Past, The Indoor Swimming Pool Is In Need Of Significant Renovation And Repairs In Almost All Structural And Technical Areas. In Particular, The Roof Structure, The Building Shell, The Bathing Slab, The Sanitary And Changing Areas As Well As The Entire Building Infrastructure (Ventilation, Heating, Electrical, Processing System) Require Fundamental Renovation. The Pool System, On The Other Hand, Was Renovated In 2005 With A Stainless Steel Lining And Is In Good Condition. Both The Multi-Purpose Pool And The Teaching Pool Show No Signs Of Corrosion Or Leaks, So That The Stainless Steel Pools Can Be Expected To Have A Further Useful Life Of More Than 20 Years And No Fundamental Renovation Of The Pool System Should Be Necessary. Due To The Significant Need For Renovation, The Landshut Municipal Utilities Are Planning To Renovate The Indoor Swimming Pool As A Gradual Overall Measure. The Focus Of The Renovation Measure Is Primarily On The Technically And Structurally Necessary Renovation Work, Which Is Absolutely Necessary For The Long-Term Preservation And Continued Operation Of The Indoor Swimming Pool. Opportunities For Increasing Attractiveness Will Be Examined In The Course Of Further Planning Depending On The Available Financial Resources And, If Necessary, Integrated Into The Overall Concept. A Renovation Concept Was Developed In Advance And Is Attached To The Tender Documents. Construction Phases: The Renovation Measure Should Be Implemented In A Total Of Seven Construction Phases In Order To Reduce Operational Interruptions To A Minimum. The Individual Construction Measures Must Be Planned So That They Can Be Carried Out During The Summer Season When The Indoor Swimming Pool Is Closed, So That A Complete Loss Of An Entire Operating Season Is Avoided. It Is Currently Assumed That The Construction Phases Will Be Divided Into Seven Phases, Although The Construction Phases Will Be Subject To Adjustment In The Course Of Further Planning: - Ba 1 - Renovation Of Roof, Ceiling And Facade - Ba 2 - Renovation Of Bathing Slab - Ba 3 - Concrete Repair - Ba 4 - Renovation Of Showers And Changing Rooms - Ba 5 - Renovation Of Entrance Area And Catering - Ba 6 - Renovation Of Technology - Ba 7 - Renovation Of Sauna Dates: The Start Of Planning For The Overall Project Is For 2026/2027 Planned.
