Architectural, Construction, Engineering And Inspection Services – Overall Renovation Of The Basel Marshalling Yard, Main West Signal Box And East Main Signal Box. External Construction Management, Subproject Phases 32-53. The West And East Signal Boxes Of The Basel Marshalling Yard Must Be Renovated Because The Existing Infrastructure And Technical Systems No Longer Meet The Current Requirements Of The Sbb. In Addition, Rooms That Need Renovation Or Do Not Meet User Needs Are Currently Empty. A Comprehensive Upgrade Of The Buildings Is Therefore Required. The Aim Of The Renovation Is To Ensure The Useful Life Of The Two Signal Box Buildings For At Least 30 Years After The Work Is Completed. This Includes In Particular The Replacement Of The Building Services Systems Including Lighting As Well As Repair Work On The Building Shell, The Offices, Lounge Areas, Cloakrooms And Wet Rooms. In Addition, The Current Fire Protection And Protection Zone Concepts Must Be Implemented As Part Of The Measures. The External Senior Construction Management Is Expected To Provide Services In Sia Sub-Phases 32 (Construction Project) To 53 (Commissioning And Completion).
