The Federal Ministry For Economic Affairs And Energy (Bmwe) Intends To Commission A Project Sponsorship For Measures In The Field Of Microelectronics From January 1, 2027. This Includes The Funding Measures Within The Framework And According To The Criteria Of The Ipcei “Important Project Of Common European Interest” Microelectronics And Communication Technologies (Ipcei Me/Kt), European Chips Act (Eca) And The Ipcei Advanced Semiconductor Technologies (Ipcei Ast). For This Purpose, A Project Management Agency (Pt) Must Be Commissioned To Prepare And Implement Funding In The Field Of Microelectronics. His Support Is Intended To Ensure The Efficient Use Of Funding Through Careful Technical And Administrative Planning, Implementation And Control. The Pt Will Fully Take Over The Administration Of All Ongoing Funding Projects Of The Previous Project Sponsor From January 1, 2027. The Contractor Will Also Support The Client In Ensuring A European Harmonized Or Coordinated Implementation Of Funding Activities In The Field Of Microelectronics. A Large Part Of The Tasks Is To Support The Bmwe With All Technical And Administrative Questions In Connection With The Funding. According To The Current Planning Status, A Number Of Up To 160 Funding Projects To Be Managed Across All Funding Measures Can Be Expected By 2031 (Up To 90 Ongoing And Up To 70 Further Possible Projects).
