Tenders are invited for Supply of Aluminum DC Cables for the Solar Pumping Station in Qrayeh, South Lebanon Closing Date: Wednesday, 15. SPECIFICATION OF GOODS REQUIRED This proposed intervention includes the supply and delivery of 150 mm² and 120 mm² aluminium cables to Qrayeh Municipality. Installation will be carried out by another implementing partner for the solar pumping station in Qrayeh. The system has been executed but is not yet operational. The proposed DC solar power cables will be used to connect a 400-panel solar photovoltaic (PV) farm to the water pumping system in Qrayeh. The solar PV system is designed to supply renewable energy to the well pump, which requires approximately 89 kW of electrical power to extract water from a depth of around 200 meters at a flow rate of 17.8618.43 L/s, and to the booster pump, which requires approximately 23 kW to convey water to the higher-elevation distribution zone. The booster pump operates only when the well pump is running, as it depends on the incoming water flow. Supplying both pumps generators and solar energy will ensure continuous and efficient water service, reduce dependence on diesel generators, and improve access to safe water for the residents of Qrayeh and internally displaced persons (IDPs). Additional Supplier Obligations: The suppliers relationship will be directly with Oxfam staff. Oxfam staff will be responsible for inspecting and confirming the delivery and completion of the project. Oxfam reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities at the same unit cost. Any item not complying with the technical specifications will be rejected. The supplier shall submit comprehensive data sheets meeting all minimum requirements. Oxfam will inform the supplier of the exact date for project implementation and delivery.
