The Contracting Authority Hereby Invites You To Submit A Tender For The Tender For The Hiring Of Storage And/Or (Dis)Charging Containers For Lithium Batteries. Lithium-Containing Energy Carriers Are Increasingly Used Within Defense Due To Their High Energy Density And Long Lifespan. The Introduction And Growing Use Of These Energy Carriers Within All Armed Forces Leads To An Increase In Safety Risks For Operational Units, Equipment And Supporting Processes. These Storage And/Or (Dis)Charging Containers Are Used For The Safe Storage, Charging And Discharging Of Lithium Batteries. Because This Must Take Place At Short Notice, The Containers Are Hired And The Order Is Mainly Awarded On The Basis Of The Shortest Possible Delivery Time. With This Tender, The Contracting Authority Aims To Provide Safe And Suitable Storage And/Or (Dis)Charging Facilities For Lithium Batteries To Manage These Risks.
