Tenders Are Invited For Construction Of A Fish Pass In Jupille-Sur-Ourthe (Rendeux)

The Work Aims To Achieve Free Movement Of Fish By Building A New Fish Pass, Made Of Stone Masonry, Which Will Allow The Passage Of Multiple Species, Including Migratory Species. Currently, This Passage Is Made Impossible By The Presence Of The Dam On The River. The Work Also Includes Measures To Protect The Banks And The Creation Of New Spawning Grounds, Aimed At Maintaining The Existing Path At The Crest Of The Bank And Creating Areas Conducive To Reproduction, In Order To Respond To The Environmental Constraints And Compensation Resulting From The Classification Of The Sector As A Natura 2000 Zone. Finally, The Establishment Of An Ecological Monitoring Station Will Make It Possible To Analyze The Operation Of The Pass. As An Indication, The Work Should Begin In July 2027 At The Earliest (Non-Contractual Information).
